Our Love Story
Daniel and Michaela met in January of 2020, working at Mellow Mushroom in Vinings, GA. One pandemic and many many many pizza to-go boxes later, they were madly in love. They now live in Mableton, GA with their dog, Bader and cat, Goose.
Daniel's Retelling
To say that Michaela has a fiery personality is an understatement, and like a moth I was drawn to that flame instantly. I’m not going to lie to you, when we were still getting to know each other she was pretty intimidating. Heck she still is sometimes. When you’re intelligent, independent and as pretty as she is you have to step your game up in order to hold her attention. Having her in my life has been the greatest experience and has helped make me a better man than I was before. Not only is she the woman of my dreams, but she is also my best friend. I could not imagine my life without her and I am so fortunate that she kind of likes me too. All jokes aside I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with the most amazing person to ever come into my life.
Michaela's Retelling
It was 2020 and I picked up a side job waiting tables. Little did I know I would have the pleasure of meeting the kindest and most thoughtful person on this earth. During the pandemic, Daniel and I served thousands of pizzas through Mellow's patio window, staying safe from the chaos outside and slowly building a friendship, then a relationship along the way. We've both grown a lot since that first year. Daniel is my partner. My rock. My strongest supporter. He is a great dog dad and he loves Goose, even if he doesn't always admit it. My favorite moments together are cooking delicious meals, playing a few intense rounds of Monopoly Deal, or traveling to new places.
